February 7, 2010 Doing Better

It is amazing how much cleaning does for my mood. When I have a cleaner house I feel so less stressed. I hate seeing the clutter and dirt when I am trying to study. Makes it harder to concentrate. So the last two days I have been doing extremely better. I have gotten the kitchen, living room and hallway cleaned and straightened. I got the kid's bathroom cleaned today. I have done lots of laundry the past two days and a lot of studying done. Yay! Go me! I am not feeling as overwhelmed as I was in my last post.

I am still behind on my schoolwork as you can tell from my list but I'm getting there. My dear friend, Chris, reminded me that I don't need to worry about packing until we go to closing. What a great outlook to have as I don't have much time to do it right now. I will get it done next week. I'll probably take the week off from homework but still go to class during the time of packing and moving. I also talked to both of my teachers and they understand why I don't have my homework turned in on time. This allows me to work at my own pace which also takes a lot of the stress off of me.

Why is it that I always feel so overwhelmed. With school, the kids, making Erek happy, and now trying to buy a house and possibly moving. The kids are being pills today. Nikolas won't stop taking his diaper off and stay in bed so he can take a nap that he so desperately needs. This means I'm running to his room every 5 seconds to put his diaper back on and get him back in bed. The baby is happy for now but give him another 5 minutes and these questions should have been done by now. There's no way a question should take 2 pages of writing to answer it. That's too much! I'm still 4 chapters behind in my Textiles class, and haven't even started my homework for my other class which meets tomorrow and I have a quiz in. How am I suppose to do all of this? My house is a mess, the laundry is piled so high. I just want to be a good mom, house keeper and student. Is that too much to ask to be those things. I really wish I had a way to get out from all of this stress. It's only going to get worse once this baby gets here. Was going back to school a mistake? I'm starting to get discouraged.

I have to do this so that I can support my children. I have to get through school, and there are no excuses for me. I also need to do a better job at keeping my house cleaned up. It's a sty and I'm so embarrassed when people come over, even family. How am I ever going to find time to pack and move my whole family to another place when I can't even stay caught up with the things that are currently on my plate.

The baby just smiled at me and I just realized why I'm doing all of this. For them. They deserve it! So I guess I'll get back to my studies and then get my house cleaned up. Phew! I feel somewhat better.

This should work to get my house cleaned and packed up in time to close on both homes without killing myself while going to school and taking cae of the kids. Let's see if I can keep on schedule!

January 25, 2010 A New Routine Again

Well my life has now changed again. We have purchased a home (subject to financing), I sold both of my homes, so this means we are moving. We have until the end of March to be out of this house and moved into the next one. So with that I need to re-do my routine to fit everything into my life. I want to have this house decluttered by March 1, 2010. Then I'm going to work on packing after that.
